GPA is calculated by multiplying each grade point by credit hours, adding them up, and dividing by total credit hours. For example: (4.0×3 + 3.0×4) ÷ 7 = 3.43 GPA.
Generally, 3.5+ is considered good, 3.7+ is very good, and 3.9+ is excellent. However, standards vary by institution and program.
